Every guest should be able to use this website, whatever technology or ability they bring to it. We work to improve its accessibility and hold it to recognized standards.
Conformance
This website aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, the standard referenced under the Americans with Disabilities Act and Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act.
What this site does
- A skip to main content link as the first thing you can tab to on every page
- Full keyboard navigation, including the mobile menu, with visible focus
- Page landmarks (header, navigation, main, footer) and a logical heading order
- Alternative text on images
- Forms with visible labels and clear error messages
- Buttons and links sized for touch
- Menus published as text, so screen readers can read every dish and price
- No autoplaying audio or video, and no flashing content
Known limitations
Some parts of this site come from third parties whose accessibility we do not control:
- Reservations, handled by OpenTable. If booking online is difficult, call (847) 233-0077 and we will reserve your table.
- Maps, provided by Google. Our full address is also on the Visit page as text.
- Social platforms, which manage their own accessibility.
